Dominic will be returning to Birdwood Gallery, 44 High Street, Totnes, Devon. TQ95SG.
with a fresh collection of old, tribal, rugs and carpets from across the globe.
These items have mostly been made by tribal groups with material taken from their own flocks of sheep, goats and camels.
There will be items from many of the world’s continents and countries, including: Central Asia, Turkey, South America, Caucuses, Iran.

Dominic will be in attendance to answer questions and also present an introductory chapter from his forthcoming book detailing some stories about select artifacts that he has sourced and handled over the last two decades. Dominic will also include clothing and bags, as well as cushions made from old rugs.

The emphasis is on education, with interpretative material for the visitor to understand who made each item, as well as where, when and how they were constructed. There will also be some support for two fund-raising initiatives, one for a Maasai village in Africa, the other for relief efforts in Gaza.
