navy blue field with three large multi-coloured hooked medallions flanked by confronting fan-tail birds, camels and stylized dragons with small polychrome stylized rosettes, octagons, latch-hooked diamonds, and other geometric devices such as large alternating elements of the field apparently derived from floral pagodas and water channels from eighteenth century Persian garden carpets, all within a dragon teeth’s border with inset birds, multiple reciprocal trefoil minor borders

Age: Late 19th century
Condition: Very good uneven pile, sides and ends original, minor re-piled areas.
Size: 9 ft 5 in X 4 ft 5 in 2.86 m X 1.35 m
