Funky Anatolian ‘Tulu’ sleeping rug, Yuruk district, south east Anatolia, circa 1940s-50s 7ft. x 4ft. 8in. 2.13m. x 1.42m. Natural un-dyed thick shaggy glossy wool.
Age: Mid 20th century
Condition: Very good even pile, sides and ends original. Pile applied by hand afterwards onto a previously plain woven foundation.
